Welcome to M.O.S.T.® (Military Outreach Service Teams)
Empowering the Future of American Welding
The United States is facing a critical shortage of skilled welders, with projections indicating a significant gap in the workforce in the coming years. We are committed to addressing this national crisis by providing a comprehensive welding training model tailored to meet the needs of both transitioning soldiers and manufacturing companies. (See America’s Welding Workforce Crisis)
We are a national logistics provider specializing in comprehensive turnkey training sites that serve colleges and training organizations across the U.S. As an experienced engineering consulting company, M.O.S.T.® bridges the critical gap between manufacturing companies’ specific welding needs and educational institutions’ training capabilities with accelerated training models designed to expand our country’s shrinking workforce by providing pre-trained immediately-employable veterans to fill critical welding positions immediately upon discharge from military service.
M.O.S.T.® addresses the nation’s welding workforce crisis by deploying state-of-the-art mobile welding laboratories directly to training locations at or near military bases and provides logistics support for colleges and training organizations to rapidly train, certify, and place transitioning soldiers into welding jobs within six weeks. The M.O.S.T.® accelerated training model offers geographic flexibility, bringing training to prospective candidates and placing them on a career path with a good job, good salary, and benefits. Each soldier, when qualified and prior to training, will interview with several companies, and if approved, will receive a commitment for hire in advance, upon successful completion of the training. After completion, the soldier will be American Welding Society-certified and receive company-paid 30-month e-learning for career advancement.
In contrast to traditional 18-month college/tech school programs which offer generalized welding training, the M.O.S.T.® accelerated model offers a six-week curriculum customized to the specific needs of the employer, achieved by matching training to the company’s exact manufacturing specifications / processes, ensuring graduates can produce goods from day one of employment.
At M.O.S.T.®, we honor the service of our veterans by offering them a unique opportunity to transition smoothly into civilian careers through specialized accelerated welding training. Our training model is designed to provide soldiers with the skills necessary to secure high-paying welding jobs immediately upon honorable discharge from the U.S. military. Our comprehensive training model ensures that veterans are job-ready and can immediately contribute to the workforce.
Key Features:
- Immediate Job Placement: Veterans are placed in high-demand welding positions upon successfully completing the six-week program and discharge from the military.
- Onsite Training Labs: We deliver OSHA-approved onsite welding labs on or near military bases, complete with all necessary equipment and materials.
